All nations wait in expectancy as the Loracle’s Wheel of prophecy rolls down its Pathe to its ultimate conclusion to bring forth the Promise of a silfen age. Yet, even as the Darkmoon rises on the horizon heralding the dawn of a brand new day for mortal and immortal alike, the enemies of prophecy continue to thwart the Guardians of the Fate who keep the Wheel rolling on the Pathe. The Pathe of The Blade…Now, in Episode II, Liiam continues his journey to Watchwoode where he’ll escort fellow Guardians of Fate to the historic Loraculine Congress in the far away Blest Lands. On the way, he and his squire are nearly ambushed by a group of savage Khorrin Sentaurs disguised as drovers. Odd behavior for those who are dedicated to serving Guardians of the Fate. Liiam is then belayed by an eerie encounter in the tower Malyn. A spirit claiming to be Liiam himself confusedly redefines the elf warrior’s destiny. Liiam leaves the Malyn Tower disturbed but in the possession of a mysterious rune-covered book which thwarts his every attempt to read it. More uncertainty follows when Lord Nherhon, Torch of the Pathe, orders Liiam and his friend Overlord Bhren, into the forbidding lands of Khorrin- the hostile lands of the savage Sentaurs, Sentries of the Pathe. Once there, Liiam must search for his Pathe-promised bride, the Beloved of Silfer. However, the Sentaurs have made it plain they do not welcome outlanders within their borders, particularly elf folk. Now, on the eve of his journey to Khorrin, Liiam begins to doubt the circumstances surrounding the theft of his Moon Rhombic. The Bearing of the Shield…Nightmares sent by the dark maj Dhrevhin haunt Bhren, prying at the dark secrets hidden in his past. For that reason he fears majik of any sort—even the pure, high majiks of the ancient elven clerics –and dreads the day the Bloodstone bound to him will suddenly flair with the fire of blood-wyte at the advent of Darkmoon. Not to mention, Bhren is seriously creeped out at the thought of having to watch the mysterious Loracle’s Wheel edge along its Pathe when he and Liiam journey to the Blest Lands. The troubles of the dithered and undecided overlord continue to mount with each day Darkmoon rises to close the Pathe—if it should ever conclude at all. An event that seems more unlikely by the day for the Heir of Bel Feire, the Beloved of Silfer, and the stolen Moon Rhombic—all so essential to the successful closure of the Pathe—remain missing. Unlike Liiam, Bhren is less troubled about venturing to wild Khorrin. After all, he is the overlord of Anatherea. His authority trumps any interdiction the savage Sentaurs may have set on their borders as the result of a long forgotten petty feud. For those the Pathe of Prophecy Denies…With the murder of the crown prince of Khorrin, the horselands of Khorrin begin to understand their ages old deception has been discovered. The Wheel once again advances on its Pathe after being mired for an age in the muck of deception. With the next turn of the Wheel, Shay knows her time with the Sentaurs of Khorrin is nearly over. Born of ha’ blood corruption she is a ghost haunting a prophecy which forbids her corrupted blood. To stay now that the horselands secrets have been revealed will mean certain death for her. The helvish pariah begins to prepare for exile in the shadow lands of the Forest Aerie. There she hopes to find the Lands o’ Madness, a fabled tree tower realm of majik and mayhem. Yet, she can’t leave yet. Shay has struck a promise in star iron to keep the stolen Moon Rhombic safe from those who would destroy the last remains of an ancient, elven majik. And that bargain has not yet been concluded.
